PROLIFE passive safety structures – frame and lattice types

PROLIFE passive safety structures are an innovative solution developed by WIMED, representing one of the most effective passive safety systems on the market. They are dedicated to mounting signs in particularly hazardous areas where energy-absorbing barriers are not installed. PROLIFE frame and lattice structures possess passive safety characteristics in accordance with the EN 12767 standard, in classes 70-NE-C-NR and 100-NE-C-NR. Through their increased yield capacity, these structures can significantly contribute to reducing the consequences of a vehicle collision, thereby saving the lives of drivers and passengers.

Product features:

• As a unique WIMED design, the system has undergone rigorous crash tests, confirming the highest parameters of passive safety.
• PROLIFE structures are manufactured using specialized profiles and lattice bracing made of galvanized sheet metal strips, permanently joined by riveting.
• The structures are available as flat lattice frames or 3D spatial posts, depending on the requirements and the size of the signs.
• Foundations are made according to the structural design. Installation is carried out by bolting the structure to pre-cast foundation anchors.
• The entire structure is hot-dip galvanized for long-term durability.
• The product is placed on the market in accordance with the harmonized standard EN 12899-1. It holds a certificate, a Declaration of Performance, and CE marking.
