Barrier „Picket” U-11a

The U-11a „Picket” safety device is used to eliminate or reduce hazards to which pedestrians or cyclists using the road and adjacent facilities are exposed. These railings are used on culverts without barriers, embankment stairs or ramps, around underground entrances and driveways in pedestrian zones, and in other cases where there is a need to protect pedestrians from falling.

Product features:

• U-11a barriers are used to protect against falls from height if the surface on which pedestrians or cyclists move is located more than 0.5 m above ground level.
• The railings consist of a tubular handrail and vertical rod pickets with a spacing of no more than 14 cm. The lower horizontal element is located 12 cm from the sidewalk level.
• U-11a railings have a height of 1100 mm for sidewalks, 1200 mm for bicycle paths, the railings standardly have an anchor in the lower part and are connected to each other using M10 bolts.
• Easy assembly, the barrier can be embedded in concrete in the ground or bolted to the substrate with a foot.
• Hot-dip galvanized and optionally painted according to RAL and/or covered with reflective film.
